Interesting and well done video, but the house is hardly in ruins, it is just vacant.
I bought a Move album with Blackberry Way on it (in mid 70's), and remember wearing this song out. Wish I still had that album.
Interesting ... the biker, wisely, pulls off the road. The guy in the car stops right in the middle.
Great work incorporating interesting computations (and graph) to demonstrate an otherwise bland topic.
"It's like a dream to be with you again" ... but what a dream!
I'm sure these firemen brought a great sense of relief to those people that they did reach. Heroic final moments indeed. Every time I watch one of this videos, I hope for a different ending ... still can't believe it.
Yes ... we think that now. At the time, no one knew that the buildings would collapse. I really feel for this people.
You could always make your own ... track down a hi-res image, add some text or whatever and have it blown up to poster size.
The Story of "Pull it". Listen the whole interview, and not the sound bite, it is clearly a reference to pull the firemen still fighting the fire. The towers have collapsed, unknown number of dead, including many from the fire department, and the blaze in 7 is far from under control. Silverstein says to pull it, meaning pull the effort to fight the fire in 7 which is a natural response after having witnessed so much devastation.
IF I could hear this, it might be pretty good. :-/
Would you please post links the "MIT Talks" re: node? I could not locate them, thanks.
So, what is the "right way"? A number of products and platform are specifically mentioned as not being the "right way", but there is not such specifics or what the "right way" is.
Breaks my heart to see him in this condition ... wish I didn't watch this clip.
I believe it is "drunken", not drug addict. Hitch took no shame in his drinking, so it is with reason that he would not be offended. Seems Hitch was highly more functional than the rest of us after some drinks or drunk for that matter.
Hey Thanks ... I think it definitely started with those kids, but it was recorded by other kids (in the same style) for a 9/11 tribute commercial director by Spike Lee ... a must see: (search '9/11 State Farm' in utube). Go Big Blue. In the original version by Jay Z, I think he says he "bleeds blue".
