Up Above Records established itself as an independent hip-hop music label in 1995 w/ initial releases by KeyKool & DJ Rhettmatic aka Kozmonautz, and Visionaries "Galleries" following soon after. Moving towards the present day, Up Above Records has grown as vinyl specialists releasing 12-inches and albums from Jurassic 5, Jay Dee aka J-Dilla, Dilated Peoples as well as housing their own full-length releases from Visionaries, Kev Brown, MC Supernatural, Declaime and a plethora of others.
