These videos are created within a fourth year film production course taught by professor Gerald Saul at the University of Regina Department of Media Production and Studies in Saskatchewan Canada.
The "Give a Penny, Take a Penny" project requires students to create work out of video footage drawn from the public domain footage found on www.archive.org. Students are then required to give back, to upload an original piece of video of their own onto the archive.org site for others to use free of charge.
