About this user

I was and still am like many others, a STRUGGLING SONGWRITER. I enjoy creating music. Eventhough the music industry has drastically changed, I'm still trying to find my place. I'm from the "old school" so getting the hang of this new music technology phenomenom that most musicians and songwriters use is frustrating.

Most of the recordings on here are old songs that I created on my SIABs (Studios in a Box). My first one was a 4-track Tascam Cassette Recorder. My second was a 8-track Foxtex Dgital Recorder. The last one I had was a 16-Track Fostex Digital Recorder that I loved to death (literally). So now i am trying to figure out Acid on my PC. I never was any good at the production and engineering of music....so my sound quality is not that great.

I guess i'm sort of a singer-songwriter, but I really didn't want to SING the songs...I wanted to write them and have someone else sing them...just have my name under the title. Back then, no matter how many tapes you submitted, some publishing companies would write back saying, "Belt those notes, you can do it". But you know, during that time, I was thankful for receiving a rejection letter than nothing at all because that meant they actually listened to my songs.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy my songs as much as I enjoyed creating them.

I hope to have more up to date ones posted once I get the hang of Acid.
