DIVYA BHARTI/ BHARATI was a very beautiful and talented actress.Yes WAS, cause she passed away 16 years ago. Born on February 25th 1974 and left this world on April 5th 1993. Divya was only 19 years old when she fell to her death off a 5th floor appartement building. Divya was very young when she started her career. Before joining Indian cinema, Divya took part in fashion shows and won many awards for this. She was in the 9th grade when she started get film offers. Her face resembled Sridevi's, who was a megastar back then. Her first big hit, was the Telugu movie Bobbili Raja. Divya captured the south by storm, she was a goddess there. Even a temple had been built in her name. With more hits, she was became a big name in Telugu Cinema and in North India she was known as the Sridevi of telugu movies. But this was not exactly what Divya wanted. She wanted to make it big in Mumbai. Her first Hindi movie was Vishwatma, including the popular and memorable song SAAT SAMUNDAR which was pictured on Divya. It was not a big hit but Divya's talent got noticed. Later hits like Dil ka kya kasoor, Shola aur Shabnam and Deewana realesed, Divya was riding high. Divya did become the hottest newcomer, she was right after Sridevi and Madhuri, left far away her generation actresses.
Imagine, how succesful Divya could have been now. Many people in Bollywood tried to find replacement, tried to find another Divya, but failed. Even after nearly 20 years from her death, Divya is still irriplaceable. Many actresses like Rani, Celina, Preity and even Kajol were recalled by resembling Divya in something. Today not many people know her, but those who remember her consider her as one of the best actresses who ever set foot in Bollywood. To me Divya is a legend. May she rest in heaven. RIP ANGEL! ♥ I love you! ♥

recently I read again such psycho things, like "please God Divya help me" and stuff on facebook..
