I never used to like Brecker because I'd only heard his experimental stuff and I thought he was over rated, self indulgent and not even real jazz. Just found this video and OH BOY DO I FEEL LIKE AN ASS NOW.

@MrBingo9er You might like Die! Die! Die!. They're influenced about equally by hardcore and alternative, along with early post-punk etc. They're pretty new; formed in about 2004 and very very good.

@goback3spaces I actually think he did ok. There were moments when he seemed wooden and far too self conscious that could have been improved on but a lot of the time he portrayed the mix of terror and humour in the scene pretty well.

@MrBenben4 If it's the same as the record then they're all inversions of EbM7 ie the notes Eb-G-Bb-D. The bass note goes Bb-D-Bb-G, I think.
