We have gorani (goranye) also and the pomaks, bulgarian muslims speaking the clearest bulgarian durring the Ottoman Empire. They say they are from persia. The bulgarians are the baktrians. There is Veda slovena: a collection of folk songs telling about pre-christian events. Some of them are telling about the falling of the Persian Empire. Threre is much more I can tell you :-)
