My name is Nick, I have been playing drums for 5 years. I started as many drummers do, listening to Metallica and Rush tunes. Now I am transitioning into the heavier genres, and I am loving it. You'll see who my influences are simply by watching my videos. I hope you enjoy them. If you don't, let me know why. I love constructive criticism.
BUT, let me make one thing very, very clear: I do not actually COVER songs. I disregard the original drums, to a certain extent, and improv my own, in their stead. I have a great deal of respect for the artists who wrote the original drums, however, no two drummers are alike, thus I feel that it's only right for me to give my interpretation. I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything lol
If anyone has any questions as to how I record, send your questions to my inbox. Also, if you have questions about gear, those are great too. I do a lot of research on different products, and have tried many of them, at one point or another, so I might be able to help people out before they waste their money on shit lol. I love to answer questions, and discuss drum stuff... I don't know why. haha
