Hello comrades,
My name is Jacob and I'm from Wales and the purpose of this page for me is to try to, in some small way, be benefiting some people in their bass playing.
Not everything is perfect, Things like camera and sound quality don't really catch my eye very much, if everything is simple to follow then the need for 'HD' videos to my mind isn't a necessary one.
With regards to perfectionism, I do not strive to learn or teach these riffs in exact replication of how the composers have written them, I don't see a need.
To me learning how to play other people's songs and techniques is merely a tool to spark more creativity in my own writing and other than that for enjoyment. The thought of learning a complex 8 minute bass solo note perfect to me seems a trivial task only worth doing if your goal is to perfectly mimic the player you're following.
So, the video's and perfect but they're slow and I like to think they're somewhat in depth and easy to follow.
I hope they benefit a lot of you in some way and I hope you enjoy learning and playing all I can offer in terms of video lessons for you.
Please feel free to rate and comment as you see fit be it a positive or a negative,
I have no intention of arguing you if you wish to be critical and I'm far too laid back to be offended if you're rude.
So like I said enjoy the bass lessons and there will be plenty more to come.
