Militant theists make death threats, murder doctors, blow up market places and fly planes into buildings. Militant atheists...just argue. And that's what most of the videos on my channel do: make theological arguments aimed specifically against fundamentalist Christianity (I don't have a problem with more liberal Christianity, though).
My reasons for doing this are because I've had a strong scientific education and I recognize how profoundly important science is to the existence and betterment of our society, at all levels and across all fields. The vast majority of us are alive and healthy today only because of advances in science. Yet because the actual scientific evidence concerning cosmological and biological origins directly contradicts the claims of religious fundamentalists, they believe science threatens their religious world view. Thus they seek to undermine any science with which they disagree. Since they've lost all the scientific and legal arguments, they've taken their fallacy-laden arguments to people who lack a scientific education and who are vulnerable to their deceptions. And they are having an influence. Christian fundamentalists are serving to weaken scientific education in our schools and rewrite history, thus retarding scientific development and ultimately harming our nation and even the rest of the world.
I could argue the scientific reasons why the fundies are wrong (and I may eventually make some of those arguments here), but the people I most want to reach--the ones most susceptible to influence by Christian fundamentalism--rarely have the scientific foundation to evaluate good science from bad (fundies keep bringing up the same arguments again and again, as if they haven't already been thoroughly refuted). So instead I've preferred to take the fight to their own doorstep, so to speak, by revealing the evil and absurdity of fundamentalist Christian theology.
This is a war worth fighting.
