Brilliant!

I am glad that this short tune, after several years of being almost impossible to find on the internet has finally surfaced with several uploads. It suited the show very well. Strong beat (suggesting marching- the military nature of the attackers) with a haunting back tune. Love of hate the show ...

I never knew which I liked best- the show or the intro tune. It goes down as one of the best theme tunes, along with the intro for the original series of V.

A very innovative idea.

She brings back to music one thing that has been missing for years, Clear, Unadulterated, FUN.

She loves doing it.

She is not an actor who passed an audition to get the job, like too many these days are, and it SHOWS!

I bought a vinyl copy of 4 fleas in 1988 in Guildford...

It then spent 20 years in a box at the back of a cupboard.

I had to carefully make it flat again before recording is using a USB turntable.

I thought it deserved being released into the wild.

I heard this song played once at the time it came out.

It took me about 4 years to find it on a CD so I could hear it a second time.

One of the very very rare times a cover version is better than the original.

All TV/film contains mistakes. I have seen 1980's trainers in a TV show set in the 50's, a Knight in Shining armour with a wrist-watch shaped gap in his tan, a partly eaten sandwich put down on the kitchen counter to the left, that was on a plate to the right uneaten when the person stood up.

I just had a look. I found my copy of Descent 2 on CD. It brings back memories. Wonder if the CD still plays?

It's a SONG. It is not supposed to be politically, geographically, logically or historically accurate. It is Supposed to sound good, and it does.

Clearly the video is based on Stephen King's book "Misery" in which a Nurse tries to stop someone leaving her by inflicting injuries that the nurse must then treat before he can leave.

Disturbed, Yes, but the book is disturbing, it's intended to be.

I think The Sugarbabes version is very good too. It's one of those rare cases where a cover version is as good as the original, but different.

I guess the 18 who don't like it have poor ISP's and ended up listening to something other than the song the 1k plus liked. No other explanation is possible. :)
