There's a BBC documentary about Syd on YouTube somewhere, and on it Bob Close mentioned how, when he was younger, he would go around to Syd's house and they'd play this riff for hours, then play something like Bo Diddley afterwards. It's kinda like reliving the moment of youth I suppose.

Got this for Christmas ... nearly finished reading it :) its a very good read. Sad in some places but hilarious in others . . . I can even empathise with some of his feelings which makes it even better .

wow. I'm in love with Pink Floyd at the moment. . . listening to this music makes me feel sad about the meaningless crap spewing out of today's music industry, through shows like X-Factor and American idol. X - Factor doesnt bring talented musicians just dopey singers.
