Diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 34, Kerry started university late. He is now a lifelong student, with a particular interest in how the brain learns.

He has a First Class Honors degree in Religions, Philosophy, Ethics and Psychology. He is currently working on a Masters of Applied Linguistics, and a dual diploma in business and business management.

As well as dealing the challenges associated with dyslexia, he has also overcome Meniers, an incurable, progressive disease that affects the inner ear (presently in his 11th year of remission), and sleep apnea, thanks to CPAP.

Kerry lives in Queensland where he enjoys doing rather than working. Previously he lived in Seoul, South Korea, where amoung other things, he was manager/owner of a Korean/Australian import/export company, Academic Director of a private language school, and occassional television actor. Prior to that he lived and taught in Japan for 3 years on the JET program.

One of his most memorable events was a visit to North Korea, as part of a CEO investment invite inspection program. A truly eye opening experience.

He is a certified Food Safety Supervisor. Has Training and Assessment Certificate IV, and a TESOL certificate from Trinty Cambridge. He is an on-call freelance editor for the Korean headquarters of a global company, an English/IELTS teacher, edits/writes scripts for an afterschool English learning program sponsored by the Korean Education Department, and is the founder and owner of an online company selling pure white powdered Stevia, an all natural replacement for sugar that is zero calorie and diabetic safe.
