I spent 3 years (Dec 68-Mar 72) working with the Vietnamese and they have always been a proud people. After being at war for so many years I for one am glad that they final have peace.

Initially sounds okay but later gets too noisy especially when the wobble trumpets and the yea, yea come in.

My, My. Looks like a bunch of peace mongers talking more trash than us peacekeepers:-) Personally I enjoy pissing them off. Peace on you.

Very nice video. I wish I could still remember Vietnamese. During my time in Vietnam Dec 68-Mar 72. In one of the many jobs I had was as an interpretor/translator.

I was looking for a photo of the monument and stumbled onto this link. Thank you for posting this clip. I was stationed in Germany on that date. If you happen to be in San Antonio at 1:00 PM on April 29, 2012 I invite you to attend the All Veterans Memorial Service at the monument.

Wow! I heard Ghost Rider and I wonder if it's the same guy that I flew with several times and I've always wondered where he is. I know he got shot down at least twice. Hope he made it home.

I Salute my Brothers and Sisters that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I Salute those of you that have had the courage to step up for those of us that are now considered too old to serve. HOOAH! Awesome tribute.

I have traveled to many countries (Vietnam, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Mexico, Luxembourg, Belgium, etc.) and have found beautiful and ugly people everywhere. The ugliest were the ones that think only one race has pretty people. There is more to being beautiful besides appearance.

I was sent to Fairbanks for 2 weeks after the flood with the Army to set up communications. Great experience. Too bad we could go anywhere.

Continue to be strong my Brother and thank you for your service and sacrifice.

In the winter of 1962 I visited Verdun and I was amazed at the pock marks from bomb and artillery explosions. I couldn't even imagine what it must have been like to be there during the war. God bless all their souls.

They are good. Reminds me of the days when I was in high school JR ROTC Drill Team. We were city champs 3 years consecutive. All branches of our US military also have drill units that perform equally well.

You can't just pack up and move an apartment like you can with the RV and you don't have to hassle with the landlord/apt mgr.

In 1986 I was a 1SG in Stuttgart, Germany and my wife at the time worked for the Col and I had the honor of meeting him. In the brief time that I spoke with him I sensed that he was and awesome individual. May he rest in peace.

Why should we be shocked? The United States was founded on religious freedom. Every religion has it's fanatics and radicals.

Nice! I was in Pleiku 69-70 and 71-72. In my 2nd time there I fly quite a bit with Ghost Rider and Chicken Man.
