UNMIS Television Unit is the audio-visual branch of the Public Information Office of the United Nations Mission in Sudan.
The unit has teams of Video-Journalist, Producers and Editors based in Khartoum (North) and Juba (South), who travel across Sudan highlighting stories for broadcasters around the world.
These teams not only cover stories relating to UN and the Missions activities in Sudan but most also news, features and human-interest stories on Sudan and its people.
The stories are edited and delivered free of charge to local broadcasters as well as various international TV News Agencies through the United Nations Television outlet UNIFEED in New York. Broadcast quality News Edits, Features, B-roll, PSAs and other video products can also be sent out directly to Broadcasters, Agencies and Production Houses upon request.
