The UK Medical Collections Group aims to connect people with medical history. We are a wide network of organisations that collect, interpret and research the UK's medical heritage. We show how medical collections can make a difference to the public, to historical researchers, and to professionals.

This channel shows films made by groups of adult learners in partnership with 6 medical museums: the Thackray Museum, Leeds; the Old Operating Theatre and Herb Garret, London; the Hunterian Museum at the Royal College of Surgeons, London; the British Dental Association Museum, London; the Edward Jenner Museum, Gloucester; and the George Marshall Medical Museum, Worcester. We are grateful to the Adult Learning Transformation Fund at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills for funding this project.

Membership of UKMCG is open to any organisation or individual with an interest in medical and healthcare collections.
