As you've probably gathered, I adore the music of John Martyn and his enigmatic contemporary Nick Drake. I've attempted a few covers and at present I'm working on something I'd previously not even dreamed of - 'Solid Air'. It's proving to be a real challenge but I'm progressing with my latest effort in Uploads......John Martyn 'Solid Air' (cover). It's not quite there yet but not far off......

About Me:

UFOIST = Unidentified Flying Objects Infiltrating Strategic Terrain. This is dismissed by those evasive and obfuscating powers that be as: "Probably high flying seed pods". Check out - NASA Astronaut Gordon Cooper who explains his experiences with UFOs.

I like the odd quote here and there that reflects my current whim, which at present is....

On karma: "My Karma ran over your dogma."
Anon

On oxymorons: "Life is full of misery, loneliness, and suffering--and it's all over much too soon."
Woody Allen

"Last month I blew $5,000 on a reincarnation seminar. I figured, hey, you only live once."
Randy Shakes

"The best cure for insomnia is to get a lot of sleep."
W.C. Fields

On self-expression: "Be yourself, everyone else is taken."
Oscar Wilde

On giving: "There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life -- happiness, freedom, and peace of mind -- are always attained by giving them to someone else."
Peyton Conway Marc

Ooo I shall have to check out that book, thanks for the recommendation! I have some exciting news.... I received an email after new year saying that I have been chosen by the judges as a Regional Finalist for Next Brit Thing! I am incredibly honoured and excited. I shall have to go and perform infront of the panel in February.. nerve wracking but an absolute honour and a complete surprise. Just thought you might like to know! As always, thanks for your kind support and I hope you are all well :)
