America's always had a problem with illegal immigration. First it was the German immigrants who the founding father hated. Ben Franklin used to slander them in his Philadelphia gazette. German's at the time wouldn't speak English and they formed violent street gangs that terrorized the early colonies. Same with Asians. In the Chinese Exclusion act of 1882 Japanese and Chinese immigrants were stereotyped as "Chinese" and were made illegal. Then you had the Irish or "Smokey Irish" or Green Niggers as they were referred to back then who weren't aloud to live in certain communities, they couldn't work in certain communities, in fact Millard Fillmore, a president of the united states did more to stop Irish immigrants than any other president. I think American's just have a problem with people who are different.
They feel that the "immigrants" are going to threaten the Anglo culture that is here in the US. Ben Franklin felt this way and it is still seen in racists today.
Oliver North Had the US sell guns to the Iranians and they used the profits to fund the Contras and you had a whole lot of genocide in Nicaragua, Venezuela, El Salvador, and Guatemala because the US also sold guns to those countries. Maybe that's why a lot of immigrants are coming to this country from that region.
You had the US invade Mexico over land and oil, NAFTA leaves Mexico dead dry economically, and when Vicente Fox announces to the world that he has found oil reserves in Mexico FOX, CNN, ABC, and CBS, and the bilderberg group announce that Mexico's oil is depleted so Primex is forced to sell it's oil to the US for no money!
But many Americans think that the Spanish are coming to the US and that Spain needs to control its immigration. Too bad Spanish People Are Caucasians from Spain. Same with Mexico. Most Mexican immigrants are coming from Oaxaca Mexico.
Mexicans are considered illegal because American's don't want to have their culture mixed with Mexican culture. This has always been the fear with the US. Ben Franklin didn't want German customs in the US he wanted to keep his Anglo root. I think people naturally resist but ideologies like racism, hate, an ideology from England of superiority, and religious fundamentalism that's so prevalent in American culture just helped spread intolerance. Now Hot Dogs, hamburgers, and German beer and are a facet of American life. People are resisting Mexicans but we'll conquer. The German immigrants that were kicked out of the US were made illegal and many of them went to Mexico. That's why there's German beer and German polka in Mexico. People marry into Mexican families; they assimilate gradually surnames change, the cuisine changes, the religion changes, etc.
Many Americans have been conned by manufactured consent.
