I have made similar soap savers (and yes, I just put entire bars of my favorite soap inside). When one of your wool socks gets a hole, just cut it and use the top part for a soap saver. I just whip-stitch the ends shut with a bar of soap inside and head for the shower for a nice scrub. Makes ...

@fanntarded May I tell you what I do? I just press it onto my skin with a puff wherever I need powder, then I gently brush over those areas with a big powder brush till it looks all blended. Do not breathe in the silica powder! It's not good for your lungs. Hope this helps you out... =]
