My name is Tyler and I'm a 28-year-old Canadian who loves video games.

I am documenting my progress of learning how to play the electric guitar via Rock Band 3's Pro Guitar mode as well as via Rocksmith.

I have no past guitar experience, but bought the Mustang pro guitar (on December 18th, 2010) to try to learn how to play as well as challenge myself. I now play the Squier pro guitar.

My short-term goals are to break into the top 25 on the RB3 pro guitar leaderboards, and get to level 7 in Rocksmith.

My long term goal is to eventually break away from RB3 and Rocksmith, and learn to play the guitar outside of the games.
