Because Youtube keeps saying "error" when I try to post a bulletin, here is the bulletin:
So I decided that I'm getting pretty sick of Youtube. They have once again ruined one of my videos, this time by muting the audio. I find that this whole copyright thing has gone too far. I feel that if the person isn't using it for personal gain, and is giving credit to the original artist, then it should be fine to use the music. People are so greedy now and it's sickening. I don't see why they can't just let people use it? I would find it flattering if someone liked something I did so much that they went and made a fan video and said how awesome I was and look at the great thing I made! Apparently today's artists don't appreciate that sort of thing. I am currently looking in to how to get the "written permission" from the copyright owner to be able to use the songs, but so far, I'm coming up short. All of the official websites give you NO way to contact them at ALL. They give links to other websites, but when I search for the artists or songs... they don't show up! So freaking frustrating. So in the mean time, You guys probably won't be seeing anything from me for a while, because everything will be blocked eventually anyway.... so really, what's the point? :*(
