With over 22 years in the music business and over 25 million albums sold, Twin Sisters Productions is the leader in children's educational music. Twin Sisters Productions offers a wide variety of music ranging from educational to holiday favorites, lullabies to classical, and foreign languages to phonics; all while keeping to its original goal of "Growing Minds with Music".
You may be wondering about the duo responsible for the creation of Twin Sisters Productions (or if they are even twins at all)! Kim Mitzo Thompson and Karen Mitzo Hilderbrand are fraternal twins who share a love of seeing the wonderful look of pride on childrens faces when they have mastered an educational concept, and just as importantly, when the children have fun doing it. Kim began teaching third grade and while becoming familiar with the math curriculum, she discovered that she would be teaching the multiplication facts. What a challenge! She knew that using music and rhythm would make it fun and easy - so that's what she did. Kim and Karen teamed up together and wrote "Rap With The Facts." This first album was recorded with the help of Hal Wright, and that's how it all began!
22 years later, Twin Sisters Productions has remained dedicated to producing quality educational and inspirational music resources for children, families, and educators. Products have regularly received awards for educational excellence, creativity, and classroom and family fun—National Parenting Publications Award, Dr. Toys Best Picks, Learning Magazine Teachers Choice Award, The National Parenting Center Seal Of Approval, and more. Kim holds a Masters in Education specializing in Integrating the Arts into Elementary Curriculum. Karen is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
