James appears regularly on television and radio to highlight his work and discoveries that he continues to make in the North West of England, He is also very much in demand as a speaker at dinner and luncheon clubs. He has appeared on Time Team for channel 4 as well as features for BBC TV and Granada television. James is also presenter of The History show on Radio General, hospital radio for Warrington where he has been broadcasting live for the past two years.
Independent Production for UK DVD Release - Summer 2010 -' Touching History ' with James Balme. James is currently filming & presenting a new documentary featuring the many treasures unearthed during the past 12 years of his research and excavations. Dating from the Prehistoric through to the Romans and beyond the documentary also highlights the many treasures unearthed by chance by members of the public.
Filming will continue until May 2010 and James would like to hear from anyone who has made any unusual discoveries whilst out detecting or indeed field walking in the Northwest of England. Discoveries made in other areas will also be considered.
