TurboVote is a nonprofit, nonpartisan service that makes voting as easy as Netflix. The system is set up, but we need to raise $25,000 to cover the fixed costs related to launching nationwide.
In 29 states, you can vote from home for every election without needing to provide a reason, and nearly every state allows commuters and college students to use absentee voting. TurboVote will send you the completed vote-from-home application (or voter registration form) and a pre-addressed, postage-paid envelope.
And for every election, from school board to president, TurboVote will send text-message and e-mail reminders to ensure that you can request an absentee ballot on time and never miss the date to mail in your ballot or show up at the polls.
It's completely nonpartisan, a service for all Americans. We really believe that if voting was more convenient, more people would vote; and if more people voted, we could reinvigorate local and primary elections, politicians would be held more accountable, our leadership would be more representative, and our democracy would work better.

Voting for national & local elections is now as easy as Netflix at Boston University.
The BU Student Union is helping to start the pilot for TurboVote. This program let's you vote from the ease of your dorm room.
We must register 10,000 BU students!
