Looks kind of archaic....from what I heard though, these individuals work wonders; they often do a better job than some stateside ENT doctors in removing earwax.

The pedestal and the flush handle first led me to believe it was a late model Universal Rundle, but then there was the Mansfield flush components and the gurgly flush and immediately I thought Kilgore.

With the way the trapway is set up, it looks almost like a blowout version of the Hymont.

I just saw one of these this morning in Bridgeton, NJ, at a juice bottling plant that I inspect. Same design, but the logo was the newer script, leading me to believe it was probably from the early 90's

They have to be from the late 60's or early 70's. Unusual to see that logo on a toilet that still has the old Standard art deco pedestal base.

Judging by the way that thing flushed, thank God it that model didn't last long. Eljer has always made good flushing toilets.....some of the models, such as the Savoy were big disappointments, but they always had good flushes. This is just a piece of junk.......most washdown toilets are.

Washdown toilets strike me as disgusting.......just a personal bias, I guess; I've always had siphon toilets. The flush on the downstairs Vitra seemed interesting; I've never seen a washout bowl with individual jets like that..

@matthewtchernev123 Cantilever bowl toilets can supposedly hold up to 600 pounds. Those big thick heavy bolts go pretty deep into the wall studs. I've seen one break off the wall though after quite a bit of abuse!

It's a Universal Rundle for sure....and it's alot older than a 1997. The siphon jet is probably clogged; that's why the water just rose, swirled around, and didn't siphon out.

Good idea using a water pik! I think that's pretty much what the doctor uses when he irrigates your ear!.......Now boil the water in the pot and make some tea!

The Debrox was only to soften up the wax so your ear could get rid of it naturally,,,,which would've taken forever. You did the right thing by irrigating the ear. That's amazing how much came out of your ear!

@toiletfan1 I would see it safe to say then, that the Murray could've been a forerunner to the Eljer Patriot, judging from the design of the bowl and the trapway. I would also speculate that Eljer might've intended to make Murray a separate brand; again, as stated in my earlier comment, possibly...

I think the peroxide is only supposed to soften the wax. You can either do one of two things: Let your body get rid of it normally, which could take a while, or get a syringe and some warm water and flush it out of your ear. Did you have a whole lot of wax coming out in the days afterwards?

@Tbolt1000TForLife Haha...TMI there, bro! Been there, done that. Sometimes, you plunge the trapway and flush thinking the plunging and the water pressure from the siphon jet may be enough to dislodge the clog and instead you have to grab your hip waders and a mop!
