My name is Shelbie and my horse is Rainman, he's a 16.3 old chestnut thoroughbred gelding. Rainy is super sweet and has come a long way in his training, when i first started on him I was only jumping maybe 2'6 and he only new the basics.. He's now becoming a very nice dressage horse and we're jumping 3ft-3'3 courses throwing bigger fences in everynow and then. A year and a half ago he was a fat useless out of shape horse and now he is a very fit, decently train athletic boy :)
I am an eventing and currently showing in the pre-training ring and going to a few hunter/jumper shows showing up to 3'6 hopefully! Although Rainman is 9yrs old he has the training and mentality of a 5/6yr old.
I have been m.i.a for the last year or so, but hoping to be able to get footage and edit a video here and there.
Q: what bridle do you use on Rainman?
I jump him in a bitless bridle and I find that he is 1000x better, we do dressage in a figure 8 and cross country with a flash.
Q: Has Rainman ever been race?
No, Rainman has never been races although he is still needed to be free lunged weekly and can outrun most horses in our barn.
