About this user

This is Dr. Pan, from Tucson, Arizona. I hate to see so many students struggle in math. It's heartbreaking because I too struggled. But I got lucky. Someone cared and helped me to see and understand that the way I learn is different from how math was taught to me. With hard work and proper guidance, I went on to earn 3 advanced degrees -- all in math, engineering and science.

In 2002, I co-founded Door-2-Math with my PhD husband. Since then, he had ventured to electronics and I am still working full-time as a "math whisperer" -helping my students to find their way out of their "math jungle".

In my spare time, I host this channel to reach others all over the world and working on bringing FUN & EASE back to learning math.

I believe in your potential and I believe in hard work. There is no reason that a single subject, like math, should stop any of us chasing our dreams.
