Jesus is the way the truth and the Life. No man come to the Father but by HIm.

Would you consider yourself to be a good person? Have you ever lied? Stolen? Used Gods name in vain? Looked with Lust? Jesus said if you even look at a women to lust after her you have committed adultery with her already in your heart. When God juges you by this standard will you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? God is a loving God but a just God, just like a Judge who is just if you have commmitted a crime will make you pay for what you have done, murderers and rapist must pay the penalties of their sins, and you may say well Im not that bad and Im just like everyone else, well just in the same way when we are driving down the highway following the speed of traffic, everyones going 15 over the limit, but when the police comes out with red lights flashing your heart sinks because you know you have done wrong and will be fined for it. Same is the way that even if we are following the pattern of the world we will one day come before the judgment seat once we die and face God alone. He will judge us by his Holy commandments and we will fall short and end up in Hell. Unless there is someone who can pay the Fine.

Jesus is this the one who has stood in and paid the "fine" or penalty of sin upon us and taken it upon himself. Just the same though if someone offers you money and you say yes but never take it, it does you no good. We must put on the Lord Jesus Christ in the same way we wear a parachute to save us from a fall. Jesus is the door and we must repent (turn from our sin) and enter into Him. He made him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
