I graduated from Montrose High School with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.963. I received a number of rewards, including an academic letter, an American Legion award, a medallion for academic excellence, and a gold cord for high honors. I am currently studying mathematics and history at the University of Michigan-Flint. I want to earn two Teacher's Certificates (one in math and one in history) and become a secondary school teacher. I also would like to go to the University of Illinois-Chicago sometime in the near future and earn their Doctoral Track M.A. in History, as well as their Ph.D. in History. My long-term goal is to become a college professor.

I am a YMCA member, and I like to exercise and swim to try to stay in shape. I also like to play the computer, surf the internet, and look at pictures of animals and cartoon characters on my spare time. I really enjoy animals; I especially like polar bears (save them!), wolverines (the University of Michigan's mascot), and giraffes. Also, I have always liked elevators, trains, and traffic lights. Some of my favorite television shows and networks include Maury Povich, Steve Wilkos, America's Most Wanted, Cops, Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, ISS Mission Coverage (on NASA TV), CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, and Bloomberg. Additionally, I sometimes like to read about gender issues.
