Apostle Dorell D. McCroery was born on February 15, 1989 in Atlanta, GA. to the parents of Morris Armstrong Jr. and LaShonda K. McCroery. It was evident at an early age that the hand of God was upon his life and that there was a special call on his future. At the early age of 8 he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and received the filling of the Holy Ghost at the age of 11.

Apostle McCroery is the former President of the Youth Advocacy Council for Covenant House of Georgia. He is a former bible student at Mid-West Theological Institute of Georgia in Decatur, GA. He graduated from Year Up Technical and Professional Development Program in Atlanta, GA where he received a certification in Information Technology.

Since the age of 3 Apostle McCroery was a member of Heaven Bound Christian Church in Atlanta, GA where the pastor is Robert L. Long. Heaven Bound is where he gave his first sermon at the age of 15, which was titled "Dangerous and Peerless Times". After his time at Heaven Bound the Lord lead him to leave and he found another ministry named Cornerstone of Faith COGIC in Lithonia, GA where the pastors are Dr. Eugene A. and Co-Pastor Diane Taylor. Apostle McCroery served as one of the Adjutants to Dr. Taylor and he also served as one of the Youth Ministers and Youth Administrative Assistants. In 2007 Apostle McCroery preached a sermon at the age of 18 at COF, which was titled "God's Three Steps to Your Deliverance" which he still proclaims today.

After his time at COF Apostle McCroery became a member of the Fresh Anointing Prophetic Ministries located in Stone Mountain, GA where he was under the direction of Apostle T. L. and Pastor Yvonne Releford who also had become his spiritual parents and apostolic covering in the Lord. He also served as the Youth Director and Chief Administrator/Adjutant to Apostle Releford.

In April 2009, Apostle McCroery was installed and consecrated to the sacred office of an Overseer in the 1st Annual General Assembly of the United Assemblies of Christ Fellowship, Inc. now known as (United Pentecostal Holy Church of America). Apostle Dorell D. McCroery is the Overseer and Senior Pastor of True Life Deliverance Prophetic Ministries in Atlanta, GA and his wife Evangelist Calandria M. McCroery serves alone side of him as Assistant Pastor.

Currently, he serves as the Chief Apostle and Presiding Prelate of the United Pentecostal Holy Church of America, Inc. which has four (4) ministries under its covering. The UPHCA is a fellowship for churches/ministries in the areas of "Covenant Covering, Fellowship, Mentoring, and Training."

Apostle McCroery is a loving and devoted husband and father. Apostle McCroery is also known as a great man of integrity and honor, but no matter the accolades, he believes that a True Prophetic Ministry has to birth out the prophetic world which is seeing, hearing, and speaking into lives which can cause a true deliverance which he still not only believes but stands on today.
