The first of these nights occurs on the eve of the 21st day of Ramadan. In other words, it is the night that commences after the completion of the 20th day of fasting.
La ilaha ill-Allah al-Azeem al-Hakeem, laa ilaha ill-Allah Rabb al 'Arsh al-'Adheem la ilaha illa-Allah Rabb al-Samawat wa Rabb al Ard wa Rabb al-Arsh al-kareem
Trans: There is no God but Allah, the All-powerful. The Forbearing; There is no god but Allah. Rabb of the mighty throne; there is no god but Allah, Rabb of heaven, Rabb of earth, Rabb of the nobel throne.
The 2nd Ashra of Ramadhaan has come upon us..
In this Ashra, Allah(swt) bestows upon us His Blessing of Forgiveness..
We should aim to attain the Forgiveness of the Most Forgiving by reciting the following dua frequently;
'Astaghfirullah Hallazi Laa Illaaha Illa Huwal Hayyul Qayyum Waa Atoobu Ilaiyi'..
('I seek forgiveness from Allah who alone is worthy of worship, He is immortal, He has created the Heavens & the Earth & I repent infront of Him')..
Hadhrat Muhammad(pbuh)said: 'Whoever seeks forgiveness with these words,his sins are erased even if they are equal to the foam of the sea'..

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection)'.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
The 1st Ashra (10dayz) of Ramadhaan has come upon us.
In this Ashra Allah(swt)bestows upon us His Rehmat, His Mercy.
We should aim to attain the Mercy of the Most Merciful by reciting the following dua frequently:
'Ya Hayyu,Ya Qayyum,Bi-Rahmatika Astagheeth'
('O'Living,O'Sustainer,in Your Mercy I plead for rescue')
