We LOVE all styles of music. We literally listen to everything. We hope that you request songs that you want us to cover. We love all types of music. Rock, Pop, Soul, R&B, Zydeco, Dance, alternative, and Blues....EVERYTHING! We think that if you are a true fan of music, you don't corner yourself into listening to just one genre.

Mimi: I am 11 years old. I loveee singing, animals, and American Girl dolls. I am hoping I get a Miracle Moves Doll super soon because my really cool sister Keiko had one. (lol, Keiko wrote that part)(edit: Mimi got one in March, '11!) I REALLY want a teacup pig...My favorite color is blue. I love to sing everything!!! I love Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Leona Lewis, And Haley Williams. My sisters say I am the funny goofy sister....Haha, I love to make people laugh!! And I REALLY want to go on ELLEN!!! :D

Keiko: I am 16!!! I love love LOVE to play guitar and write songs. I'm a total hopeless romantic. I am learning to speak french, and can't bake cookies to save my life. I am kinda obsessed with my facebook, and with posting youtube videos...My favorite color is purple. Artists I would love to meet are Taylor Swift, Paramore, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Orianthi. Oh and I lovee pesto pizza. :) My sisters would describe me as outgoing and the responsible one. I like to be around people who aren't afraid to be themselves.

Kariél: Hi I am Kariél, but everyone calls me Ella. I am 14 years old. I LOVE the color pink. I love to play the bass, and to DANCE!!! :) I am obsessed with reading.. And I LOVE Harry Potter books and movies.I really love Carrie Underwood, Pink, and Paramore. My sisters would say I am the girly cool calm and collected one.... I must admit I AM pretty awesome. I have a dog named Yuki and I love to cook. :) xoxo

bo-Pah: HEY THERE!! My name is bo-Pah. My sisters say I am the loud and crazy one. I just like to bang on things...Thats because I am a drummer!! I'm 8 years old. :) People can't believe it, but I can hold down a pretty mean beat. :) I would love to meet Animal. ;D My favorite drummer is my brother Thomas Pridgen. :) I really really like to cook, and so I help in the kitchen and watch all of the cooking shows. I am kinda short so you might miss me....So its great I have my HUGE hair!! :)

"Are you sisters?"
Yes- There are 4 of us...Mimi, Keiko, Ella, and bo-Pah Sledge. :) We perform together as The Sledge Grits Band. Also Mimi and Keiko use this site to post covers together.

"What nationality are you?"
We are Japanese, French, Native American(Cherokee and Apache) African American,(Which makes us Creole by blood) German and Irish :)

"Is your hair really curly?"
Yes! We all have variations of the same curly hair :) A mixture of our parents hair!


"What do you use to make your videos?"
We use iMovie and record straight onto our Mac. It isn't the best sound quality, but we use what we have for now! :)

"When did you start posting?"
We have had the account for a while, but only recently really started posting videos in February 2011.

"What is your method?"
Well, usually we hear a song we really love and just start to learn it. We are always playing music, so picking up new songs quickly is easy for us. Mimi and I will go into a quiet room and record on our computer. Sometimes it takes a few hours, sometimes we get it done really quick. But we always make sure to have fun with it! :) Then, Mama and I edit the video and post it on youtube ASAP!! -Keiko :]

"Do you guys arrange the acoustic covers on your own?"
Yes, we do :) Mimi puts her own twist on the vocals, I come up with the guitar by ear, and we add background vocals if necessary. -Keiko
