Recently the United States government has passed a terrible act and has more up for consideration. The government passed the N.D.A.A. For those who do not know what this is the N.D.A.A. allows the government to arrest and detain anyone suspected of terrorism. This is done without a trial. This effectively takes away our right to due process and our freedom.
The government is considering at least two more terrible acts. These acts go by the names of S.O.P.A and the E.A.A. Also known as the Stop online piracy act and the Enemy Expatriation Act. The Enemy Expatriation Act allows the government to strip you of your citizenship for committing any hostilities towards the government. What does it mean to commit a hostility towards the government? Is a simple protest a hostility? The Stop Online Piracy act is essentially censorship of the internet. It allows the government to censor or even shut down websites suspected of piracy. This means sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube could be shut down entirely.
These acts are stripping us of our rights. We must not allow this to happen. This is not what it means to be American.
Those watching this in a different country wondering what this has to do with you. This will end up affecting you as well. Your government will follow by example. Do not let this spread or even start. Stop this at the source.
Please keep informed. Please spread this message. The time to speak up. Is now.

Our second day at the Australia Zoo and got to see an amazing demonstration of their beautiful crocs! This one got into a bit of a mishap earlier in his life, but luckily Australia Zoo has given him a second chance! And we can't forget the commentary done by the witty-as-ever Irwin family! They are hilarious!
Right now Australia is experiencing some devastating floods, and the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital is becoming flooded itself! Only instead of water they are receiving extremely high numbers of injured native wildlife. If you get the chance, stop by Australia Zoo's website and donate some money to them. Every little bit helps, and they REALLY need it right now!
