This is an Eastern Hognose Snake or (Heterodon platyrhinos)... Western Hognoses live from New Mexico to California not in Maryland....

that is actually an Eastern hognose snake, not a copperhead...copperheads always have hourglass shapes going horizontal down there back...i must say at a distance that hognose looks very similar to a copperhead...anyway awsome footage!!
