When I look back, I can't help this feeling that John's acoustic solo in that period (such as Shakti) even has more fire, as compared to his recent works, albeit still excellent. Anyway, his playing has been evolving over the years, a Supreme Master, nonetheless. Thanks for posting.

She sings really well. Note that, folks, her voice was recorded only with very little processing effects, that says a lot for the level of this singer.

But should definitely use a comparable pianist, I would fire the pianist if I were the producer.

I am a guitarist and now transcribing his Stardust solo of this version. Though I am a modern jazz kind of guy, this is one of the most haunting 'inside' solos I have ever heard, so beautifully executed. So elegant, truly a masterful solo.

Was that Wallace Chow on the guitar solo? "Old" school, but meaningful, very well executed on both acoustic and electric.
