@all3nthegamer the battery life is gonna suck for you at first probably because your so excited your using it more trying to figure out everything but you know how it goes turn all that extra stuff off that your not using and should be fine should go for a good 18+ hrs given your usage

@JRGTV81 there would be no serious difference also the amount of apps that wouldn't support it and text would be unreadable which is an issue the galaxy nexus faces.

hardware acceleration has been in Android since day one the code is more optimized and the way it works is differently

@marquesbrownlee force gpu is nice but it causes issue with some apps and while it adds to performance I would proceed with caution because of compatibilities and I have my xoom on ICS now if you had a question

its also funny that none of these apps have been updated for 4.0 indicated by the placement of the menu button furthermore hardware acceleration isn't an end all its the way the code was written and it was to late to change so now they have to workaround this issue

@tabletpcuk no problem but backup your info first of course and if its an incremental update then I wouldn't recommend it but on a Major release it should definitely be done to make sure everything works as expected
