I served in LAPD Comm.Div. from 1986-1989. I did many ridealongs after my watch ended, and gained a understanding of conditions from the officer's perspectives. It was invaluable. The was the era of Crack, CRASH and "Operation Hammer." As a historian of the LAPD, as we moves me grately. I am proud to have been part of the finest law enforcement agency in America. "KMA"
