Thanks for watching! I had a couple days off so I decided to cover one of my favourite Beatles' songs as a downtempo soul tune. Inspiration for this project includes Soulive, The Sugarman Three, Vulfpeck, Prince, Lalo Schifrin, Headhunters, Donny Hathaway, pulled pork sandwiches and pretty girls.
These solo projects take a heckuva lot of time to put together so I appreciate your comments, and supporting my music is as easy as sharing this video with your family and friends. If you any any questions don't hesitate to ask via comment or message!

TECH STUFF: Recorded Friday Feb. 24/2012
*Everything was recorded mono and all I did was hastily put mics in front of things and press record. The intentional aesthetic is meant to be dirty similar to an old funk 45*
Drums - Tama Rockstar Kit, 421 on the kick, SM57 on the snare, TLM 103 as the overhead
Bass - (right handed) American Fender Jazz thru shitty Peavy keyboard amp, 421 on amp
Guitar - Fury Bandit thru Voodoo Labs "Sparkle Drive" thru Traynor 40W, SM57 on amp
Wurli - Direct in thru Radial Passive DI
Organ (Nord)- Direct in thru Radial Passive DI
Recorded and Mixed in Logic Pro 8 using a Presonus Firepod Interface and KRK RP5's
Video shot on 2 Canon Rebel T3i's and edited in Final Cut Pro
