About Me:
He began performing country music locally at nightclubs, bars, fairs, and festivals, and has expanded through the South, from Florida to Nashville. With a resume highlighted by venues including the Bluebird Café in Nashville, The Stage on Broadway, the "world famous" Round-Up in Davie, Florida, and Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Trent is remembered by those who watch his performances as a rising star. At the age of 16, Blake Shelton's words of encouragement and mentorship cemented Trent's vision to structure his future career in Nashville. In June 2008, Trent's songwriting heroes Bob DiPiero, Tony Mullins, Jeffrey Steele, and Craig Wiseman selected him as the winner of the HitMen of Music Row's National Vocal Competition, sponsored by GAC. In October 2008, Trent was chosen to open for Rodney Atkins, reaching a new level of achievement and respect within his local broadcast community.
Trent has spent his entire life honing his craft as a musician's musician. His lifelong musical journey began in his hometown of Miami, Florida, when he began studying the violin at the age of 3. In addition to mastering the violin, he has conquered the double bass, and taught himself to play the acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, bass guitar, banjo, and keyboard, enhancing the sounds and methods by which he can express his creative thoughts and deep emotions.
Not only an experienced performer, Trent possesses the unique ability to draw musical ideas from a foundation of multiple, distinct genres. Having been selected to play under the direction of world-renowned conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, as well as being declared the winner of the All American Music Festival's Solo Competition, he is truly a diversified artist. Also an accomplished jazz musician, Trent has performed in national competitions and shows with big bands and smaller ensembles in Miami, Chicago, and New York City as a singer and a jazz bassist, and is the recipient of the Woody Herman Jazz Award.
He finds country music the ultimate form of expression. "It's the unadulterated truth behind the lyrics," says Trent, "the raw emotion in the stories of the songs...it can only come from the heart."
With his humility, genuine spirit, strong work ethic, and a maturity far beyond his years, Trent continues to live out his dreams pursuing what is destined to be a successful career as a performer, musician, and singer.
