TRE'JUR -- A FRESH JAMAICAN SOUND

Jamaican music has seen a proliferation of groups over the years but once in a while a group comes along that is a breath of fresh air. 2010 sees the emergence of Tre'Jur, the freshest group off the Kingston streets; filled with passion for the music, voices of gold, harmonies to die for and looks to kill.

The three sisters grew bored of singing in-front of their mirrors in their hair brushes and decided to seek out a way to "buss" in the music industry. For a while they had been practicing their musical skills pleasing friends and family and even had ideas for their first video. In pursuit of their dreams, they went to the studio where they were mentored for awhile. In early 2008, they impressed a local producer who then released a cover version of the Curtis Mayfield (and Pat Kelly) hit "You'll want me back," along with a video.

Born and bred in Kingston, the three sisters, Maxx, Speshi and Lace, have been surrounded by the music of the Jamaican greats since an early age and have now focused their unlimited talent towards taking over the airwaves.
