TRAX is the UKs biggest and best event for all performance and modified cars. Located at the home of British Motorsport, Silverstone Circuit, no other UK car show offers so much.

As the final instalment of the 2011 Adrian Flux Auto Series, TRAX: The Ultimate Performance Car Event was back bigger & better than ever! This year saw a guest appearance from legendary race driver Ben Collins the ex-Stig who wowed crowds with his amazing precision driving in a Ferrari 360 Modena both in the Live Action Arena and on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit. Ben also demonstrated exactly why he was the Stig for such a long time with his amazing sprint test run achieving 0-60 in 5.18 seconds!

The Live Action Arena was jam packed with amazing stunt shows from Terry Grant and karting demonstrations from Jade Paveley. Plus for those who missed it, racing driver Jamie Morrow with Precision Live in association with Westfield Motorsports broke the World Record for the number of consecutive donuts in a row with 280 full rotations around a fixed point! There was plenty of track action in association with track sponsor e-parts.co.uk as record numbers of you took the opportunity to experience the Silverstone tarmac at first hand.

The Maxxis British Drift Championship 5th and final round of the Super Pro Series thrilled the crowds with some seriously insane angles and trails of smoke being cast half-way round Silverstone. Team Need for Speed drivers Darren McNamara and Frederic Aasbo threw down the gauntlet early in their first time appeareances in the BDC with the latter winning the round after an amazingly close final with Phil Morrison in the Driftworks S15 who made his long awaited return to the BDC!


This years TRAX also saw hundreds of car clubs and over 3000 cars from all over the UK & Europe fill Silverstones infield showcasing the best in performance, tuned and modified motors. The huge array of club cars were broken up with some amazing displays from the Swift Rally Cross Team, the Super Sonic Car Bloodhound which is attempting to break the world land speed record in 2012, Fast Car, Fast Ford & Total Vauxhall magazines, the TRAX Supercar Paddock, the Animal Bike Tour and Thunder Alley!

This year for the first time ever saw gaming giants EA showcase their forthcoming release Need For Speed: The Run and right next door we decked out a film pit courtesy of Universal Studios, who gave exclusive screenings of Senna and Fast 5!

Other features included; the mobile Rolling road provided by TCS in association with STP, the final round of the 2011 Power & Style awards in association with Yokohama, the Audio Zone with big industry players including Pioneer, Clarion, Vibe and EMMA International, Silverstone driving and passenger experiences -- there was literally so much to see and do it was difficult to get around!

Other highlights included the Official Partner Showcase featuring top automotive brands such as Adrian Flux Insurance, TSW, Maxxis Tyres, Milltek Sports, Meguiars and STP.
