Dear TravisMaxima,

I've been through some rough shit for the past couple of days. the girl i like will not even relize i'm there. she says she loves someone else and she says to get over it. because love isn't what life is about. what do YOU think life is about?

Well. I've never been asked this question before so It was interesting to contemplate an answer. It took me quite a while to figure it out. But me being through some rough times as well. I responded;

Were not here to make ourselves happy.

Were here to make it a safe and comfortable and loving place for everyone around us.

Even our enemys.

Even if it involves sacrifices.

Because even though you might find that doing the thing that hurts you the most.

Even letting someone go.

It's right for them. Because if you REALLY loved them.

You'd want what's best for them.
