Years ago Megeara sold her soul to Hades to save her boyfriend's life, who in turn thanked her by running off with some other girl.
Since then Meg has become jaded, believing everyone to be petty and dishonest. She can be sarcastic and sometimes even downright insulting, although she has a good heart underneath her thorny exterior.
Meg has little to no fear of the god of the underworld and will give him the same attitude that she gives everyone else, if not worse.
Recently her fate has changed and she was used as a bargaining trick. Hades gave the Grand Vizier and supreme sorcerer Jafar joint custody of Megeara.
Since then she has been staying in Agrabah with Jafar as one of his harem girls. When not with Jafar or his harem, she is usually with Hades or doing a job for him.
