The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure has jurisdiction over the nation's highways, bridges, railroads, transit and aviation systems, and maritime and waterborne transportation.

The Committee also oversees programs for clean water infrastructure, pipeline safety, economic development, disaster preparedness and response, and the transportation of hazardous materials.

These are issues that serve as the foundation of our economy and our way of life. Committee Republicans are working to strengthen that foundation to ensure the safe, efficient transportation of people and goods, and provide the necessary infrastructure for our communities across the nation.
