Dr. Tramontes Curriculum
When Dr. Silvano Tramonte, dental surgeon and implantologist, expert in implant prostheses, obtained in Pavia a university degree in Medicine and Surgery, he had been already introduced in the implantology world for several years. In fact, at fifteen years of age he was building wax models of the screws that would become famous together with their inventor, Dr. Stefano Tramonte, Silvanos father. From that time he has never ceased to deal with implantology, achieving a profound experience in surgery and prostheses, and continued to contribute to the implants technical evolution. Dr. Silvano Tramonte is the scientific director of the magazine THE NOTES Appunti dImplantologia (Notes on implantology), and has completely revised its approach, with the consequence of considerably reviving the general interest in the publication. He has invented the SIDE BRACKET CONFIGURATION IMPLANT, a new surgical technique conceived to solve problems presented by atrophic mandibles. He has invented and advocated a new implantology concept, called BIOIMPLANTOLOGY; he is the holder of important implant-related patents, has perfected and codified the TRAMONTE SURGICAL PROTOCOL, and has conceived and perfected surgical techniques of advanced implantology. Dr. Tramonte gives implantology courses on his personal method, the most effective immediate load implant system, which offers to patients the advantages of an absolutely minimal surgery, fixed temporary placed immediately after implant insertion, permanent fixed prosthesis made a few weeks after surgery, and, finally, possibility of facing and solving almost untreatable anatomical configurations. Dr. Tramonte is a popular speaker in Italy and the world, and practices his profession in Milan, Italy.
