This song's an enduring favorite of mine and hearing it takes me right back to the time when "Like I Do" by For Real imprinted on me. Great Song! Thank you, ladies.

I 'discovered' Basia about two years after her performance at The Neil Simon Theater; a la her renowned "Basia On Broadway" album. I used to lament this fact though seeing her vibrance in these videos does salve the hurt, somewhat. Basia's a jewel and ever my favorite artist.

Inexcusable, but, I had this great song mixed-up with Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing" for about a week during the era when both songs were debuting. Both're sentimental favorites and recall a seemingly simpler time.

No other performance, of any kind, sticks in my memory as U2's feat at the Super Bowl. I am thankful to have watched it on TV as it was happening.

An hypnotic, sentimental favorite of mine. Here's " Sukiyaki", another staple of early FM stereo radio stations which helped fuel the boom in the popularity of component stereo sets in the late '60s. The song sounded very rich and layered, like some exotic pastry, to my young ears.

Living in this area, so steeped in History, for all of my life it's still something to consider this reenactment and to think of the seminal event which inspired it. Awe inspiring.
