Trail Mix Pilot

Trail Mix explores the American outdoors with a nod to the Average Joe. Our host, veteran comic Brandon Gibson, doesn't reenact death-defying arctic excursions or read extended monologues on the breeding habits of obscure insects. And he doesn't follow the fanny-packing masses to the most obvious and well-traveled destinations. Instead Brandon brings a brash mix of humor and curiosity as he explores the gateway cities and towns that surround our National Parks. Then, using the insights of locals and insiders, Trail Mix moves into the parks and off the map to find the best off-beat and little-known natural attractions.
