About Me:
I've lived and worked in Sheffield all my life and I think it's a great city with plenty of things to do and great night life.
I enjoy singing (of course) and regularly out to my local pub for karaoke and usually sing up a storm!
Also I enjoy photography and have been quite keen for a number of years and have recently discovered the convenience of digital photography.
I'm going to visit my brother and his extended family in Canada with my sister in the autumn and hope that the weather is good.
I'm also yearning to get myself another dog. I lost mine 2 years ago and I miss him so much. The trouble is dogs tie you down. I wouldn't want to have to leave mine in kennels that's for sure. Anyway it's a big decision but I know they make good lifelong pals and I'm sorely tempted.

Main interest singing. Would like to join a choir if possible.
Also karaoke and once or twice I have sung in a live situation but mainly pubs. Karaoke makes one lazy as the words are up on the screen.
Photography. I don't take photo's as often as I used to but I use a camera mainly when on holidays etc. I've just found out how convenient it is to use digital cameras and I may use these more now after using film for nearly 40 years.
Now one of my greatest joys in life is music. I love classical stuff as long as it's not too heavy. I'm a keen Sinatra fan and have been for over 40 years and that includes the Rat Pack (Dean Martin Sammy Davis etc.). I can't say I'm keen on oheavy Rock or Jazz (apart from George Shearing etc.) but I do like Soft Rock from the likes of the Carpenters etc. I also like much of the 60's stuff (especially the Beatles) including the Kinks, The Moody Blues etc. I'm not averse to a bit of Country and Western either. I like John Denver, Glen Campbell, Marty Robins, Shania Twain etc. I also love film music from the likes of John Barry, Ennio Morricone etc. I think Morricone is a genius. My favourite album of his is from the motion picture "Once Upon A Time In America." This is an amazing album and the first time I heard it It brought tears to my eyes as some of the pieces are so beautiful.
