Im formulating a list of the Good Toyota (when they were built) and the bad ones. Don't listen to Intechdude300 for some of these..... hes just a Toyota hater even though his opinion on some of these is correct:

Last good Corolla: 2008 Model year
Last good Camry*: 2001,05-06,2012+ Model years (Some of the 2002-2004 were good too. But a significant number of them were plagued with the dreaded "stripped head bolt issue," where the head bolts on the 2.4L would come loose, causing the coolant system to become fucked. Also avoid the V6's that had the 3.3L motors.)
Last good Avalon: 2004 Model year. (2005+ hasn't been too bad but not nearly as good as the older ones)
Last good RAV4: 2000,2006+ Model years (The 01-05 generation had major issues with the tranny's and ECM's)
Last good Highlander*: All good (avoid the 3.3L V6)
Last good Venza: Shittest Toyota around.... no joke. (Shows what happens what Americans get their hands on Toyota.... they build junk)
Last good Sienna: All good except the the 04-06 with the 3.3L motor... its a POS
Last good Sequoia: All good
Last good Land Cruiser: All good
Last good 4Runner: All good
Last good Yaris/Echo/Tercel: All excellent
Last good Prius: For a hybrid, its good
Last good Matrix: 2008 model year
Last good Tacoma/T100: All excellent
Last good Tundra: All good but avoid the 2007 model year with the 5.7L 4x4 configuration...... had some yucky bugs
And thats pretty much it.

If you want a good Toyota. Find one with a "J" as the first letter on the VIN number. END OF STORY.
