Look up the history of dubstep on Wikipedia, though very different in some respects, I can see why people confuse glitch with dubstep.

Very inspritational piece indeed but in the name of true facts go to Wikipedia. Mary Schmich wrote this as a column for the Chicago Tribune in '97 and in '98 Baz Luhrmann produced this song from the written piece.
